2. The Atlanta Falcons can give Odell all the targets he wasn’t getting as a member of the Browns

Unfortunately for the Atlanta Falcons, they don’t have Nick Chubb or one of the best offensive lines in football. While this may work against them it also works in their favor when it comes to appealing to a player like Odell.

If there is one thing we have learned about Odell in New York and Cleveland he wants a high number of targets and to be the star of the offense.

If Atlanta were to land Beckham he would be the star of the offense and receive targets at a much higher rate than he was in Cleveland.

Ryan is a better quarterback than Mayfield and has demonstrated with Julio Jones and Roddy White that he will force-feed his stars the football. This is something that Odell will likely consider when picking his next team and what helps keep Atlanta in the running.

They are not a big market team that is going to attract Odell, however, this could work for them as well. If Odell were to come to Atlanta this becomes his team and makes the Falcons a relevant national story. Something they aren’t currently, outside of occasional Kyle Pitts chatter who is talking about the Atlanta Falcons? Perhaps the number of targets and having a team of his own would be enough for Odell to consider coming to Atlanta.
