2. Kyle Pitts must bounce back from two average weeks and burn the Cowboys secondary

Kyle Pitts and Matt Ryan both had very rough games against the Carolina Panthers followed by solid performances against the Saints. However, neither game was close to the elite production Pitts put together against Miami and the Jets.

That elite production is what Atlanta needs from Pitts this week. Looking at the Cowboys roster Pitts is one of the few clear advantages Atlanta will have. Who on the Dallas roster can cover Pitts and have a chance at success?

Pitts has 546-receiving yards so far this season and has only managed to score once. This is partly due to the fact that he is Atlanta’s best option as the field shrinks and the defense will not single cover him.

It is solid production for a rookie tight end who is only going to get better. This is a week Atlanta needs to feed Pitts repeatedly and give the rookie a chance to take over the game.  When Pitts has heavily involved the rest of the offense opens up we have seen this against Miami and to a lesser extent last week against the Saints. Atlanta needs Pitts to have a huge week, one that will give them a chance against the Cowboys.
