2) A.J. Terrell – CB

A.J. Terrell could easily be number one on this list for the Atlanta Falcons, it was a hard choice, to say the least.

Terrell has had nothing short of a breakout season for Atlanta, even with all the factors that are not in his favor.

Playing on a defense who can not get to the passer makes the defensive back’s jobs so much more difficult but yet Terrell has somehow flourished this year. He has yet to give up more than 30 yards in a game, simply spectacular. He has also allowed less than 100 yards in his area on the season.

He plays on a defense that has pretty bad players all around. He has certainly been the best defender that the team has. He has played like a true lockdown corner, and perhaps as the best in the league when you consider everything.

If the team did not have Terrell, who knows how much worse this defense would be. He is the building block for the future of the defense. Dean Pees has the utmost confidence in the second-year cornerback.

Not to mention, A.J. continues to prove the doubters wrong, those who questioned the Falcons for taking him in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
