1) Cordarrelle Patterson – RB/KR

Prior to the season, who would have ever predicted that Cordarrelle Patterson would be the best player for the Atlanta Falcons halfway through the season? Probably next to no one.

For a player who has been considered to be a utility player throughout his career, to see him playing the way he is, is simply incredible. No player in the NFL is playing like Patterson is. He takes on duties as kick returner, running back, and wide receiver.

He is the ultimate weapon in today’s NFL.

Arthur Smith has unlocked a new gear to Cordarrelle’s game. He makes it so difficult for a defense to predict where he might be on one play compared to another. One play, he might line up as a true running back, while in the next play he could be lined up as a true wide receiver. He has been unstoppable.

He currently sits top five in the NFL in all-purpose yards, and also has seven touchdowns. There is not a thing he cannot do.

We can only hope that his recent ankle injury will not cause him to miss multiple games as this offense needs him in the worst way. Without him, it would basically be only Kyle Pitts.

The team especially needs him in their upcoming game as Belichick will no doubt look to eliminate either Pitts or Patterson from the offense.
