1. When Ryan Fitzpatrick is your quarterback you are going to ride a roller coaster

Ryan Fitzpatrick is going to get another starting job if he decides to play another season. He was the starter for Washington before an early injury took away his chance. The season before that he was the best answer for Miami and would have likely gotten them to the playoffs if Miami had made a decision to stick with the veteran.

Fitzpatrick is the ultimate roller coaster playing the position with a recklessness that is going to generate a lot of highlights and some rough lowlights.  Fitzpatrick will stretch the field and throw your team to improbable victories just as he will throw away some sure victories against lesser teams.

If you’re forced into the quarterback market and want to stay competitive Fitzpatrick is your short-term answer. The veteran should have no problem finding a short one-year stint this off-season if he opts to return.

There are also going to be questions for Fitzpatrick at his age coming off of a serious injury. For any team expecting to start Ryan, they would need a complete workout and to test how he reacts to taking hits yet again.
