4. Should Atlanta consider reuniting with Mohamed Sanu?

The best years of Sanu’s career unsurprisingly came with Julio Jones and Matt Ryan. In the Atlanta Falcons offense Sanu had a huge role including lining up at quarterback to get a key first down or to make a surprise deep throw.

Since being traded from Atlanta Sanu has been unable to find a role that showcases what he can do. Coming back to the Falcons after another rough season could be a great move that benefits both sides.

Sanu will easily be in Atlanta’s price range and gives them a much-needed depth piece.  Tajae Sharpe or Christian Blake are the names you should think of when considering who Sanu would replace.

Could he truly be worse than either?  It is hard to see Sanu not making an impact even though he has lost a step, he and Matt Ryan had elite chemistry that would help Sanu get his career back on track.

Signing Sanu doesn’t fix Atlanta’s issues at the position but it is a step in the right direction for a team that needs all the help they can find at the position. Sanu coming back to Atlanta just feels right for a team that needs exactly the skill set he would bring.
