Cedrick Wilson

Cedrick Wilson is a really underrated player on the free-agent market, one that the Atlanta Falcons would be really smart to target when free agency does open.

Wilson has obviously been overshadowed in the Dallas Cowboys offense. When you play on a team that has Amari Cooper, CeeDee Lamb, and Michael Gallup, you are bound to suffer for it. He could potentially be a breakout player next season.

Despite all the talent he has played around, he still was able to put up respectable numbers last season, as he totaled a career-high 45 catches for 602 yards and six touchdowns. It is really his only season of success, which is a big downside.

In an offense where he gets more opportunity, it is not hard to imagine him putting up well over 602 yards on the season. He has a big frame at six-foot-two and 200 pounds. In fact, his upside might be higher than that of Russell Gage’s.

Who knows if the rest of the NFL will see him as an underrated target in free agency but spotrac.com has his projected annual average at just $6 million per year. It would be well worth the Falcons signing him to a contract around that much, as he could be the Mohammed Sanu of the offense for the next few years.
