2. The San Francisco 49ers would make Matt Ryan an MVP contender yet again

Matt Ryan reuniting with the offensive genius that helped him win an MVP in 2016 and helped lead Atlanta to a Super Bowl would be a fun headline. One that would put Matt Ryan back on the map and establish him as an MVP contender next season.

San Francisco has that great of a team and that great of an offense one that has often been winning despite their quarterback not because of him. All they need is an adult at the position someone who is going to come in and help stabilize the offense and make a play when they need it.

The problem with this fun scenario is the fact that San Francisco lacks a first-round pick this year and which players would they part ways with for Ryan? They have plenty of picks in this and upcoming drafts just not a first-rounder this season. Making trading Ryan a bit more painful right away. It is going to be a bit harder to find a trade with San Francisco but the fit makes far too much sense for Atlanta not to consider. Trey Lance could likely use another season and there would be no better quarterback for this system than Matt Ryan.
