Now you might start off by thinking that the Kansas City Chiefs already have a star defensive tackle in Chris Jones, but that is even more reason for them to look into trading for Grady Jarrett.

Can you imagine having Chris Jones and Grady Jarrett on the field at the same time? It would be a dream scenario as both guys are elite players at their position.

What’s more, is that they now have a good chunk of cap room and draft capital from their recent trade of Tyreek Hill. They saved upwards of $20 million against the cap as he was entering the last year of his deal.

Steve Spanoluo—the Chiefs defensive coordinator—loves nothing more than pressuring the quarterback, as he is a blitz-heavy play-caller. With Grady in the mix, it would allow them to get more pressure without blitzing, thus helping out their secondary that lost Tyrann Mathieu.

It makes a lot of sense as this is a team that is bound to compete in what is going to be a wild race to the playoffs in the AFC.

Perhaps even more talent will be heading to the AFC West.
