There has been a lot of chaos around the Falcons this year, they have attempted to make big moves, even if they backfired, but one player has been overshadowed—Grady Jarrett

Fans have been wondering what the fate of Grady Jarrett will be. Will he be traded, will he get a contract extension, or will he simply play out the last year of his deal?

It feels like an extension is the most likely scenario for the Falcons and Grady Jarrett

Out of all the scenarios that can happen with Grady Jarrett, it feels like the Falcons will most likely work out an extension in the next month.

Falcons owner, Arthur Blank, has stated that he wants Grady to be a Falcon for the long run and has also mentioned how they are talking with Grady currently. This is good news for the fans who want Grady to be a lifelong Falcon. If the owner is saying something like that, then you know it is true.

Even without those comments, you could assume that he will be extended, this is because the Falcons will need to find the money to sign their rookies and the most sensible option to free up the money is by extending Grady.

Along with extending Grady, expect to see Mike Davis cut as it will save a small chunk of money.

The Falcons did not have much money to begin with. Recently they have gone on a flurry of signing cheaper players to contracts and those all add up. It is hard to know exactly how much money the team currently has with all the recent moves but it is reasonable to assume they do not have enough to sign their rookie class when the time comes.

As mentioned before, they can clear up enough money by extending Grady and cutting Mike Davis, expect to see those two things happen in the next month.

Next. Versatility is the key for the Falcons offense. dark
