3. Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs are one wildcard team that is being overlooked as a possible landing spot for Deebo. They will have to clear cap space to give Deebo a new deal but as New Orleans has demonstrated this off-season the cap seems to be a little more than a suggestion for some teams who have learne to finesse the cap.

The Chiefs have the extra draft assets they gained when they traded Tyreek Hill and a lack of a clear number one receiver with Hill now in Miami. The Chiefs cannot afford to be complacent whiel the rest of the AFC is attempting to catch them. Within their own division we have watched a series of blockbuster moves in attempt to catch the division favorite Chiefs.

As long as they have Patrick Mahomes until proven otherwise they are the division favorites. However,  there is no question the rest of the division has gotten closer while the Chiefs have taken a step back this off-season. Trading for Deebo changes that, you bring in a weapon that Andy Reid and Mahomes would use perfectly and make the Chiefs Super Bowl favorites once again. The Chiefs have sat quietly all off-season while the rest of their division has been making moves. Don’t be surprised if it is Mahomes and the Chiefs that make the final big splash of the off-season.
