The Atlanta Falcons need to continue to add to their wide receiver room and luckily for them, they have numerous routes to do just that.

Of course, you have the draft and the Falcons have five picks in the first three rounds. This draft is deep at the wide receiver position, it is likely that the team will use at least one of those first five picks. The other option is to trade for one, whether that be Deebo Samuel or another player who seems to be on the trade block.

The Atlanta Falcons have a connection that could land them Kadarius Toney

Kadarius Toney was selected out of Florida in the first round last year by the New York Giants, he also happened to be teammates with Falcons star, Kyle Pitts.

Terry Fontenot could get on the phone with Kyle Pitts to get a first-hand account of the type of player Toney is.

The average fan knows what type of game he brings to an offense. He has ridiculous playmaking ability and truly can take any play to the house.

If the Giants are indeed shopping him, Atlanta needs to do their homework and as long as they are comfortable with what they hear, they should pursue Toney.

Toney had limited action as a rookie. No one knows how good he could be, thus allowing the Falcons to buy low on him.

Kadarius Toney would be an instant upgrade at the receiver position. As previously mentioned, he was selected in the first round for his ability to create explosive plays. Throw a simple screen to him and he can make any defender miss in space.

The Falcons should at least look into Toney, a playmaker who has untapped potential and is still on his rookie contract. He would bring an exciting player to Atlanta.
