Julio Jones – WR

We have already talked about why the Atlanta Falcons should bring back Julio Jones but we will go back over it.

The Falcons will not have Calvin Ridley for at least one year, he was the veteran at the position, but now that would lie on the shoulders of Olamide Zaccheaus. Julio Jones, provided that he would be willing to come back, would be able to give the team some production while also being a coach on the field.

Julio had a lot to do with Ridley’s success, he took him under his wing and taught him a lot about playing wide receiver. Having him here to do the same with guys like Drake London, Frank Darby, and Bryan Edwards would be invaluable.

Lots of people have written off Julio as an old, washed-up wide receiver, but if, and it is a big ‘if’, he can stay healthy, he is still the most technically sound receiver in the league. He knows the game like no one else, something he can use to make up for the speed and agility he has lost.

Not to mention, it would be so nice to see him back so that he can possibly end his career and retire with the team that he starred for.
