Week 3: Atlanta Falcons @ Seattle Seahawks on September 25th

This will be a matchup of two teams who traded away their greatest quarterback in franchise history over the offseason — Matt Ryan for the Falcons and Russell Wilson for the Seahawks.

These two teams have played a lot over the years but they will probably not recognize each other due to all the big changes.

This is a very winnable game for the Falcons because the Seahawks are a team that has lost a lot over the recent years.

Sure they still have Tyler Lockett and D.K. Metcalf but now Drew Lock will be throwing to them behind another suspect Seahawks’ offensive line. They also decided to move on from their legendary linebacker, Bobby Wagner.

The Atlanta Falcons will match up well against the Seattle Seahawks.

Their two best players are probably Metcalf and Lockett, so if you are able to stop them then the team will likely struggle mightily. Drew Lock is throwing the ball and the Falcons can cover the two receivers with A.J. Terrell and Casey Hayward, so it might be a long day for the Seahawks offense.

If Marcus Mariota can deliver 20 or more points, odds are the Falcons will win. It is a game they need to win if they want to make the playoffs, and the prediction is that they get it done at Lumen Field — still very strange to not be calling it CenturyLink Field.

Results: Falcons 24, Seahawks 16

Record: 2-1
