3. Julio Jones

The longer Julio Jones sat in free agency this off-season the more inevitable it seemed that the receiver would land with Tom Brady and Tampa Bay. As painful as it might be to see the former Atlanta receiver land within their own division Falcons fans should have no ill will against a receiver who left everything on the field for Atlanta for a decade.

Jones was the ultimate pro and endured a lot of losing and poor offensive play calling in Atlanta. Many star players would have left Atlanta far sooner but Jones stuck by Atlanta and attempted to be a part of the solution.

After another failed season in 2020, Jones asked to be traded as Atlanta was obviously pivoting towards a rebuild. One bad season with the Titans later and Jones is being underrated on the impact he can still have on a team and will have in Tampa.

Jones had 771-receiving yards in the 2020 season and finished with 1,394-receiving yards the season before that. The Titans weren’t the right fit for Jones and the veteran struggled to stay healthy. A change of scenery to Tampa is exactly what the veteran needed to get his career back on track and make high-impact catches once again.
