3. Dean Pees

This leads me to my final point, and we’ve all heard this one before: defense wins games. According to the NFL Fantasy Football Rankings, Atlanta is ranked at an alarming 32 in defense. This is not news to a loyal Falcons fan.

Everyone is aware that the Falcons have a devastating history of blowing leads in the second half. Surely enough, the Falcons proved to continue the dreadful legacy in their week-one loss to New Orleans. The Falcons led the game 23-7 in the first half leaving fans nervous going into the second half.

Ultimately, the Saints came out on top with a one-point win just to make matters worse. This is the time for Atlanta to prove itself. With one of the best defensive coordinators in the game (Dean Pees), fans can only hope for more positive results going into the new season.
