3. Marcus Mariota

This is by far the least likely avenue to victory of the three options for Atlanta. However, the Falcons have consistently scored twenty points or more despite their quarterback playing terribly and turning the football over. Mariota hasn’t had one great game as he was capable of having with the Titans followed by struggles and turnovers that would get him benched.

If ever the veteran quarterback was due for a big game it would be this week against San Francisco. The Atlanta offense has been good even with Mariota turning the ball over and struggling to complete simple passes.

Imagine how great the team could be on offensive if Mariota has a great game and consistently hits his receivers and avoids the two turnovers he seemingly has every game. Putting up 250-passing yards and completing 65% of his passes would be considered an elite game for Mariota and give Atlanta the chance to win this game. While it is extremely unlikely Mariota has put up great numbers in his career before perhaps he has saved his best game for San Francisco on Sunday.
