Steve McLendon – DT

The Atlanta Falcons could target a player like Steve McLendon who has been in the league since 2010 and has put up some impressive seasons, mostly with the Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Jets.

Obviously, his best years are behind him. He is almost 37 years old but the fact that he played 14 games for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last year, shows that he can still make an impact.

He is mostly a run-stopper, as he has never had more than three sacks in a season, but he can still be an important piece for Dean Pees. When you are more than halfway through the season, you are not going to find an interior defensive lineman that can have a huge impact rushing the passer.

The Falcons should be looking into the defensive tackle that they had to block early last season.
