Say what you want, but there is no doubt that Tom Brady has had a lot of things go right in his career. Sure, he may just be the greatest player ever but he also has had a lot of fortune throughout his long career, and the Atlanta Falcons are just adding to that notion.

Why is that? Well, the Falcons — and the rest of the NFC South, for that matter — are failing to take advantage of a terrible division, so Brady and the Buccaneers look to be headed toward another division title, despite only half-earning it.

Atlanta Falcons are giving Tom Brady yet another gift this year

If the Atlanta Falcons could have managed to make a couple more plays this year, they could be sitting in a good spot when it comes to winning the NFC South. Instead, they are essentially giving the division to Tom Brady.

We know the history between the two sides, Brady has dominated the Falcons. This was the year for them to have the last laugh (kind of) by taking the NFC South crown from him. However, it looks like they will be doing the opposite as they continue to come up short in games.

The last two losses by the Falcons, especially the most recent loss to the Steelers, feel like the nail in the coffin for the Falcons’ division hopes. The Buccaneers can now play sub-par for the remainder of the season, yet still win the division.

Atlanta is going into their bye week, already behind the Buccaneers who have already had their bye, which means a miracle will need to happen for the Falcons to end up in the playoffs.

Even if the Buccaneers keep losing, it doesn’t feel like the Falcons would be able to take advantage of it. I hope I end up wrong but here is your free-division crown Tom Brady 👑.
