Three NFC teams with situations that the Atlanta Falcons are glad they aren’t in

Even Arthur Smith has called this season for the Atlanta Falcons a rollercoaster—although, he was mainly referring to the play of Marcus Mariota. Despite it being a rollercoaster, it hasn’t been a disaster, unlike some other teams.

The Falcons were projected by many to be the worst team in the league and they have been far from it. They have stayed competitive in all but one game this year. Then you look towards the future and see all the money and draft picks they have, it makes you realize just how bright the future is.

There are certainly other teams that wish they were in the Falcons’ position. The Falcons should be happy that they will have the resources to improve the team significantly over the offseason and beyond. It wasn’t long ago that we had a bunch of contracts that kept the team from being able to sign any free agent asking for more than five dollars.
