2. Lamar Jackson

Lamar’s contract situation in Baltimore continues to leave the possibility that the star quarterback could hit the trade market this off-season. If that happens a bidding war will ensue and the Falcons shouldn’t hesitate to do what it takes to bring the star quarterback to Atlanta.

Jackson is a far better passer than he is given credit for and is a talent unlike we have ever seen when he leaves the pocket. His ability to make the first man miss or simply outrun the entire field is impressive and why he is one of the faces of the league.

If Lamar hits the market it shouldn’t matter whether or not the Falcons believe in Ridder long-term. Jackson is an instant answer that makes the Falcons not only playoff contenders but Super Bowl threats.

With a wide-open NFC Atlanta simply needs to find a quarterback and pass rushers to become a playoff threat. Adding Lamar would make them more than that and bring Atlanta a franchise player they so badly need.
