The Falcons need to focus on stopping the Buccaneers’ passing game

If there is one polar opposite in this game, it is the Falcons running game compared to the Buccaneers’ running game. The Falcons are a top-three running team while the Bucs are one of the worst in NFL history.

Tampa is averaging just 76 rushing yards per game, and their leading rusher is Leonard Fournette with 668 yards.

Meanwhile, Tom Brady is second in the NFL in passing yards and Chris Godwin is 32 yards away from being their second 1,000-yard receiver this year. Needless to say, forget the run game and focus on stopping the Bucs through the air.

Last week, Brady and Mike Evans connected for three long touchdowns, so just make sure to stay deep on him. The Panthers blew their playoff chances last week because they let Evans run right past them.
