Atlanta Falcons fans should cheer on the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFL playoffs

Will play the lowest remaining NFC seed in the divisional round on January 21/22

You may be wondering why Atlanta Falcons fans should be cheering on the Eagles during the playoffs, but there are a couple of reasons.

First of which is that many Falcons fans are Georgia Bulldogs fans and the Eagles drafted two players out of UGA last April. They took Jordan Davis with their top pick and they took Nakobe Dean in the third round. Those are two players who helped their university win the National Championship last year.

Next is because they are proof that you can succeed in the NFL with a run-heavy offense. Sure, they have a great passing attack but they are showing that teams can have quick turnarounds in the NFL.

Not to mention, the Falcons were the only team with fewer sacks in 2021, but the Eagles turned that around and almost broke the team sack record this season. All I am saying is that there is a sliver of hope for Atlanta’s defense.

Who knows, the Atlanta Falcons might become the 2023-2024 NFL season’s version of the Eagles.
