4. New Orleans Saints

Is there any argument against putting New Orleans in the basement next season? The team has the least amount of cap space in the league, no answer at quarterback, an aging defense, and a bad head coach. Watching New Orleans go back to the basement of the division will do just as much good for Atlanta Falcons fans as winning will after dealing with years of Sean Payton and Drew Brees.

This is a Saints team that is finally paying for years of going all in on contending and ending this with only one ring to show for it. Albeit this is one more ring than the Falcons have in franchise history, New Orleans had the benefit of a generational talent at quarterback and one of the most creative head coaches in the league. They might be hated rivals, but it doesn’t change the fact that Payton and Brees often got the best of the Falcons who now can repay this with New Orleans clearly the worst team in the division.
