1. Atlanta’s Super Bowl collapse isn’t disappearing

Unfortunately for the Falcons Tom Brady’s best Super Bowl performance was the darkest moment in Atlanta’s franchise history. There is no reason to write the obvious coaching errors or the luck that fell Tom Brady’s way for the comeback to happen. The Falcons cannot re-write history and Brady has leaned completely into the 28-3 jokes with a movie set to come out and plenty of non-stop trolling from fans and teams alike.

It has grown beyond tiring but until the Falcons get back to the playoffs and redeem themselves it will haunt them and remain Brady’s most memorable achievement. There have been equally bad playoff collapses and dark moments for other franchises that hasn’t stuck. Just this past season the Chargers collapsed in the playoffs to a Jaguars team with zero playoff experience with an even larger lead and yet what negatives are attached to Herbert like they were to Matt Ryan after this game?  It is because of Tom Brady and until the Falcons win their first Super Bowl this will continue to be the biggest story in team history.
