3. Target Aaron Rodgers, Lamar Jackson, or Justin Fields

It would be surprising on some level to see any of these three quarterbacks moved this off-season despite the persistent speculation otherwise. If the Falcons aren’t going to move forward with Ridder and are unable to put themselves in a position to draft a franchise quarterback the next best move is targeting one of these three with the issues being obvious.

The cost of landing Lamar Jackson and the long-term impact that could have on your franchise has been well covered. Atlanta should look at both the Deshaun Watson and Russell Willson trades as warning signs. If Baltimore lets Jackson walk away it is for a reason.

Rodgers is clearly never going to pick Atlanta as a landing spot if he stays in the league and leaves the Packers. However, as one of the three best possible trade market targets Atlanta would need to do their due diligence.

Justin Fields is the best fit of these three in that the cost to land the quarterback and the likelihood of a trade all seem to make this move possible.
