Running back (5):

  • RB1: Gerald Riggs
  • RB2: Jamal Anderson
  • RB3: Michael Turner
  • RB4: Warrick Dunn
  • RB5: Cordarrelle Patterson

The Atlanta Falcons, much like the wide receiver position, have had no shortage of great running backs in their history. Gerald Riggs is the franchise leader in rushing yards, but you could really interchange all four of the top running backs with one another. It is all about personal preference.

Jamal Anderson had a spectacular career cut short by injuries. In their 1998 Super Bowl season, he carried the ball 410 times for 1,846 yards, simply ridiculous. He also added over 300 receiving yards as well.

Then Michael “The Burner” Turner was a great combination of size and speed. He was also such a secure ball carrier. He leads the franchise in rushing yards per game by a wide margin.

Then Warrick Dunn, a great player on and off the field, is widely renowned for so many different things. Finally, Cordarrelle Patterson is mainly on here as the kick returner but he can also be a great offensive playmaker.
