Special teams coordinator:

  • Keith Armstrong

Long snapper:

  • Josh Harris

Here we are combining the two most exciting names on this list, especially long snapper. The Atlanta Falcons had one option at long snapper which was obviously Josh Harris and they had two options to be the special teams coordinator—Keith Armstrong (2008-2018) and Joe DeCamillis (1997-2006).

Ultimately we went with Keith Armstrong who is currently serving as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers special teams coordinator. Armstrong’s units with the Falcons only gave up one punt return touchdown, made 87.7% of field goals, made 99.1% of PATs, and accounted for 1,383 points over his ten years. There was a reason he survived a regime change during his time in Atlanta.

And then Josh Harris—Armstrong’s primary long snapper—was remarkably reliable and currently sits 12th in most games played in Falcons’ history. That is as far as we will go into long-snapper stats.
