3 players who deserve lucrative extensions from the Atlanta Falcons

3. Kyle Pitts, TE

The Atlanta Falcons should take a risk right now and give Kyle Pitts a long-term extension. Pitts has proven he can be a great player with an accurate quarterback. While things have not gone smoothly in recent years, handing him an extension while his price is at an all-time low would pay huge dividends.

Pitts' price will skyrocket once he retakes the field. Adding Kirk Cousins will be the best thing to ever happen to Pitts and his wallet.

It would certainly be a risk considering the lack of production these past two seasons but offering the highest-drafted tight end in NFL history a long-term contract at a time when his price is lowest would be genius.
