Pick #44 South Carolina Receiver Xavier Legette

Ideally, the Atlanta Falcons would find an edge rusher here and look to find a receiver in free agency. However, there simply isn't a fit for the Falcons at edge here that isn't an obvious reach. Legette is the best fit on the board for the Falcons. Xavier is 6'3 and 230-pounds and still has elite speed and a great ability to find open space.

The only reason Xavier is this low is due to not finding his stride until late in his college career. Once we are through the combine and early NFL off-season it wouldn't be at all surprising to see Legette become a late first-round pick. The receiver is that talented and would complete the Falcons offense. Draft the young receiver and use the saved cap space to chase Brian Burns or another top pass rusher.

Legette has an explosive ability that would complete Atlanta's offense with Kyle Pitts, Drake London, Bijan Robinson, and Tyler Allgeier giving the rookie quarterback a wealth of weapons. Legette would be a perfect fit with Daniels and give Atlanta the chance to have one of the most explosive offenses in the NFC.
