Ranking Atlanta Falcons last 10 first-round draft picks

7. Bijan Robinson 8th Pick 2023

While there should be a belief that Bijan Robinson is going to be a star in this league his rookie season wasn't anything spectacular. Certainly not up to many Atlanta fan's expectations. When you consider the explosive athlete that he is and how little Arthur Smith utilized this talent the frustration only grows.

It is far to early to judge this pick and for that reason alone Robinson sits in 7th. Yes, it would be easy to make the case that his future value will have in the top three. Just as one could argue that drafting Robinson with Allgeier on the roster and still lacking an edge rusher or quarterback was a mistake.

No matter which side of the argument you fall on there is no denying that this kid is special. How he carries himself off the field and handles fans and media speaks to this. Robinson is going to be a good player in this league for a long time to come.

What his ceiling is for the Falcons is yet to be determined in year one with Zac Robinson and Kirk Cousins. The pick still appears to be a solid decision with the potential to turn into a great one.
