Should the Atlanta Falcons make a move for Todd Gurley in the 2015 NFL Draft? Is he worth the risk of an early draft choice?

More from Atlanta Falcons Draft

According to ESPN Stats, the Falcons finished 24th in rushing offense last year.

With the release of Steven Jackson and with Jacquizz Rodgers joining the Chicago Bears, the Falcons certainly need reinforcements.

But in a deep draft class at the position, is Gurley worth the risk?

The Georgia star has injury concerns, and is currently recovering from a torn ACL.

In a draft that includes Wisconsin’s Melvin Gordon, Nebraska’s Ameer Abdullah and Miami’s Duke Johnson, just to name a few, would it be a wise move to pickup Gurley early?

First of all, let’s establish that the Falcons shouldn’t take him with the eighth-overall pick. They shouldn’t take any running back that early for that matter.

Whether Gurley is even available for them with the 42nd-overall pick is another question altogether, but if he is, should they draft him?
