Falcons Schedule 2015: Atlanta Lands 2 Primetime Games

The Atlanta Falcons’ 2015 NFL regular season schedule has been released, and you view the full schedule here. Who are there two primetime games against?


The Falcons will open the season against the Philadelphia Eagles at the Georgia Dome on one of two Monday Night Football games. The game will kick off at 7:10 p.m. ET on Monday, September 14.

The next primetime game on the Falcons schedule is on Thursday Night Football against the New Orleans Saints at The Superdome.

This divisional clash will take place at 8:25 p.m. ET on Thursday, October 15.

The game with the Eagles is fascinating. Philadelphia has undergone a makeover this offseason, with Nick Foles, Jeremy Maclin and LeSean McCoy all departing.

On the flip side, DeMarco Murray, Byron Maxwell and Sam Bradford could all make their Eagles’ debuts against the Falcons. Oh, and perhaps their latest signing, Tim Tebow will feature…

The Saints will pose a familiar threat for Atlanta. These two teams meet twice every year, and it was the Falcons who got the better of their rivals last season, winning both contests.

The Falcons convincingly beat the Saints in their own stadium in Week 16 last season, winning the contest 30-14.

On Thursday Night Football, they will be facing a New Orleans side without Jimmy Graham, who was traded to the Seattle Seahawks in March.
