It’s that name again. Ryan Ratty of NFL Spin Zone makes it a sweep of pass rushers in his latest mock draft.

The pick — DE Randy Gregory, Nebraska

Ratty writes:

"“Before I get started on this draft explanation, I first need to say that there are obviously tons of concerns over Randy Gregory. Around a month after the 2015 NFL Scouting Combine, it was reported that he had fail a marijuana test at the event. Despite that, I still have faith in Gregory becoming a real good player in the NFL. At 6-foot-5, 235 pounds, Gregory obviously lacks the ideal build and weight to make an immediate impact in the NFL. However, he’s another guy that can don wonders with an NFL conditional program as well as an NFL weight room. Last year, the Falcons had huge needs to bring in an offensive tackle and a pass rusher. They addressed the offensive tackle position by drafting Jake Matthews in the top ten last year, but as was the case in 2014, the Falcons need to improve in terms of getting after the quarterback. By drafting Gregory, the Falcons do just that. He’s risky, but Thomas Dimitroff is definitely the guy who would pull the trigger.”"

It’s going to be interesting to see what the Falcons do with the eighth overall pick. It’s likely that whoever the player, the Falcons will take a pass rusher.

Of course, this is all assuming there are no trades. The greatest part about the draft is that it is often unpredictable.
