Atlanta Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons have the easiest strength of schedule in the entire NFL, and this could help them return to the playoffs for the first time since 2012.

Before then, their focus turns to fixing their ailing defense through the draft. With an already high-powered offense, they will need to play better on defense to have a chance, no matter the schedule.

They face a tough start, facing off against three NFC East opponents in their opening three games. A clash at home with the Eagles followed by trips on the road to the Giants and Cowboys will be tough. The Falcons will be pleased if they can come away with one or two wins from this early stretch.

From this point on, the Falcons have a chance to rack up some victories.

Between Weeks 5-9, none of their opponents finished with a winning record last term. Home games against the Redskins and Buccaneers, as well as road games against the Saints, Titans and 49ers give the Falcons a chance to pick up some wins.

The Falcons will be tested in Week 11 when the Indianapolis Colts come to town, but it eases up after this.

On their final stretch, they will face the Vikings, Panthers and Saints at home, with road games against the Buccaneers, Panthers and Jaguars.

They won’t win all of those, but they should come away with more wins than losses.

Prediction: 9-7
