NFL Draft 2015: Falcons Select Tevin Coleman No. 73 Overall

facebooktwitterreddit

The third round pick is in. The Atlanta Falcons have selected running back Tevin Coleman with the No. 73 overall selection of the 2015 NFL Draft. Is this the right move for the Falcons?

Coleman is an explosive runner and has no fear running between the tackles. The Falcons just got a lot of power to their backfield.

With outside linebacker Vic Beasley selected in the first round, and with Jalen Collins selected in the second round, is this the right move for the Falcons in the third?

Falcons general manager Thomas Dimitroff continues to add pieces to the team that will be coached for the first time by Dan Quinn. Quinn will be hoping over time he can replicate the success he enjoyed in Seattle.

This team is a long way off that standard, however, but it all starts with this draft. Vic Beasley was the pick many were hoping for in the first round, and Quinn will be excited to build his defense around the Clemson all-time sack leader.

Be sure to stay tuned to Blogging Dirty as we break down the draft pick and what it means for Atlanta going forward.

Barring any trades, which can always be expected with Dimitroff, here is a list of the remaining Falcons draft picks:

Round 4, Pick 8 (107)
Round 5, Pick 10 (146)
Round 6, Pick 9 (185)
Round 7, Pick 8 (225)
Round 7, Pick 32 (249)

What do you think of the pick? Would you have done anything differently? Be sure to let us know?
