NFL Draft 2015: Falcons Select Grady Jarrett No. 137 Overall

The fourth round pick is in. The Atlanta Falcons have selected defensive tackle Grady Jarrett with the 137th overall selection of the 2015 NFL Draft. Is this the right move for the Falcons?

GM Thomas Dimitroff moves back to defense with this pick, and he’s taken a talented defensive tackle. Jarrett is undersized, but he works hard and has good speed.

He is expected to be able to start early, and can be disruptive against both the run and the pass. This is another addition to the rebuilding Falcons defense.

The Falcons had an incredible opening two days of the draft, adding outside linebacker Vic Beasley in the first round, cornerback Jalen Collins in the second and running back Tevin Coleman in the third.

The third defender taken within the five picks for the Falcons will bring fresh energy to the unit and belief that they can turn around the fortunes.

They have their pass rusher; they have their cornerback. Now the Falcons have added a defensive tackle who will have a chance to join the rotation in 2015.

What do you think of the pick? Would you have done anything differently? Be sure to let us know.
