Bruce Irvin: Fans React To Atlanta Falcons Comments

Seattle Seahawks pass rusher Bruce Irvin has expressed his desire to play for the Atlanta Falcons in 2016, and fans have been reacting to the report via Twitter.
From a Falcons’ perspective, adding Irvin would be great for a rebuilding pass defense led by his former defensive coordinator Dan Quinn.
As for the Seahawks, it would of course be a blow. If they do believe he will swap Seattle for Atlanta when he becomes a free agent after the 2015 NFL season, maybe Pete Carroll will aim to get something back in return through a trade.
It will be interesting to see how it plays out, for sure. Here are some of the Twitter reactions to the reports:
Wait so Bruce Irvin came out and said he'll be joining the Falcons in 2016 while under contract with Seattle this season? Wow

If you think Bruce Irvin in Atlanta is written in stone, I wouldn't go that far. The guy sure does seem determined, though.

Quinn just gonna save the Seattle defense as an Excel file and import it to Atlanta next year.

Bruce Irvin as a falcon with Vic Beasley? Sounds like a good start for our defense in 2015

Bruce Irvin says he's ATL-bound... uncommon to see a coordinator leave and have so many players openly and privately want to follow him.

Whether it actually happens is unknown, but there has been plenty of buzz about the situation on Twitter. Would a player really be desperate to leave arguably the best team in the NFL?
It would appear so. From Irvin’s point of view, being reunited with Quinn while also having the chance to play in his hometown of Atlanta seem like plus points.
The thought of Irvin lining up outside with Vic Beasley is exciting for Falcons fans, especially after seeing the unit limp to just 22 sacks in 2014 — tied for 30th in the league.
What do you think? Should the Falcons go after Irvin?
Would he be a good addition to the team?
