5) Devin Hester

Devin Hester slides in at number five on the list for a number of reasons. After coming over to the Atlanta Falcons in 2014, Hester was asked to be more involved on offense, something he had not been able to do while with the Chicago Bears. In his first full role as a wide recevier, Hester caught 38 passes for 504 yards and two touchdowns. He also found the endzone once on the ground as well. As far as returning goes, Hester led the NFL in kickoff yards and had a decent season returning punts.

But, the real reason he made this list was for his magical night in week three against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. On this night, Hester rushed for a 20-yard touchdown and later would return a punt, 68 yards to the house to break Deon Sanders’ all-time punt return touchdown record with him in attendance. Hester would then have another long punt return called back for holding. This was Hester’s night in what was a 56-14 drubbing of Tampa bay on Thursday Night Football.
