Justin Hardy is one of several rookies to look out for at this years training camp. Hardy was the Atlanta Falcons’ fourth round pick and is in to replace former wide out, Harry Douglas. On top of competing for a starting job with the Falcons’ receiving corps, he may also see some snaps as a return man.

If you did not already know, Hardy broke the FBS receptions record this past season with 350 career receptions while playing for East Carolina. Hardy can lineup pretty much anywhere on the field, but many see him as a slot receiver with Julio Jones, Roddy White and Leonard Hankerson taking the outside duties. But, don’t be surprised if you see Hardy lined up on the outside from time to time.

Unless Hardy has a terrible training camp and preseason, you can pencil him in as a week one starter. The Falcons did a terrific job of replacing Douglas with a guy who many believe will be a much better player for Atlanta. We all love Douglas and hated to see him go, but Hardy is the future folks. Start embedding his name into your skull.
