Matt Ryan has been an absolute rock for the Atlanta Falcons since coming into the league back in 2008. Ryan was drafted by a team that desperately needed a face to lead them and that is exactly what he has done. Matty Ice as they call him has brought his team back in the last two minutes more times than we can count and has some statistics that make eyes bulge.

Ryan is second in NFL history with consecutive seasons with 4,500 yards plus, 25 passing touchdowns and a 66 percent completion percentage with three. Ryan has hit this mark in 2012, 2013 and 2014 with a great chance of having another in 2015. in 2014, Ryan was the second best quarterback against the pass rush and one of the most accurate deep ball throwers in the league. Ryan is not considered to be elite in some eyes, but his stats tell you otherwise. The only thing left for Ryan to do is to win a Superbowl for a franchise that never has.
