Brooks Reed was the Atlanta Falcons’ biggest offseason acquisition, but has yet to play for the Falcons after re-injuring his hip early on in training camp. Ever since the hip injury, Reed has had several days off and did not play in the first preseason game, but has a good shot at playing this week.

Reed saw the most reps he has seen on Wednesday, but the team was not in pads. If Reed does not play this week, expect him to be ready to go for the third preseason game next Thursday. The Falcons will need Reed in order to be successful on defense in 2015, but the team does not want to rush him back.
