The Atlanta Falcons have a very young secondary, but they are not going to back down to anyone. They like to hit, the like to tackle and they like to intercept. The Falcons’ secondary had two interceptions against the Philadelphia Eagles. Strong safety William Moore picked off Bradford in the first half while free safety Ricardo Allen sealed the game with a diving interception.

As far as the corners go, the Falcons have a stud in Desmond Trufant. Correct me if I’m wrong, but not a single pass was completed on Trufant all game long. Other than Trufant, the Falcons have Robert Alford, Phillip Adams and rookie Jalen Collins.

As far as the backups go, they need work, but had a decent game against the Eagles. Regardless, the secondary was flying around and made more plays than not. It will be interesting to see how players not named Trufant and Moore play in the upcoming games.
