Atlanta Falcons’ wide receiver Julio Jones finds his way atop the list of the best wide receivers of week 1. Jones caught nine passes for 141 yards and two touchdowns and helped lead Atlanta to a win over the 4th ranked Eagles on Monday night football.

Jones now has over 400 yards receiving in his last two Monday night football games combined and continued his torrid rampage last Monday night. Jones averaged 15.7 yard per catch, more than Brown and Allen and scored more touchdowns than the two combined.

Is Jones the best wide receiver in the NFL? It’s hard to argue against that. Regardless, Jones is a top-5 NFL wide receiver and continues to make even the best cornerbacks look mediocre or best. Just watch Byron Maxwell’s interview after hearing how many yards he gave up against Jones.

Jones is Matt Ryan’s favorite target and will continue to shred defenses week after week.
