Sep 20, 2015; East Rutherford, NJ, USA; New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning (10) fumble s the ball after the tackle by Atlanta Falcons outside linebacker Kroy Biermann (71) during second half at MetLife Stadium. The Atlanta Falcons defeated the New York Giants 24-20.

The Defense (20 points allowed, 2 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery: 5 points)

Not a great fantasy day for the defense, as they got only five points. Things were going fine until Odell Beckham Jr. gashed the secondary for a long touchdown which tied the game in the second quarter.

Overall, what saved the day was an impressive fourth quarter. Kroy Biermann and Vic Beasley Jr. both got strip sacks (although Beasley’s should have been called an incomplete pass, and it would have been better for the Falcons if it had been called that), and the Giants didn’t score in that final period.

Analysis: If you’re looking for a defense for Week 3, this is the week to pick up the Falcons. They face a Cowboys offense which will be lacking both Dez Bryant and Tony Romo due to injuries.
