1) Atlanta continues to shoot themselves in the foot

For the Fourth game in a row, the Falcons have shot themselves in the foot. After blowing out the Houston Texans in week 4, the Falcons have committed 12 turnovers. TWELVE IN FOUR GAMES PEOPLE. That right there is the reason why the Falcons are 6-2 rather than 8-0.

I don’t even want to look up what the Falcons’ percentage is in the red-zone this year, but it is likely near the bottom of the league if not the absolute worst.

It’s that simple, folks. The Falcons turned the ball over four times against Tampa. Tampa scored all 20 of their points in regulation off of the Falcons’ turnovers. It can’t get much more cut and dry than that.

The Falcons must play better and take care of the football or they will not like how their season ends. If the Carolina Panthers beat the Colts then they will have a 2-game lead over the Falcons.

Sorry to say, but if the Falcons don’t win the NFC South in 2015, then they won’t stand a chance of beating a Carolina or a Green Bay on the road in December.

Luckily for the Falcons is that they have yet to play their best football. Everyone wants to be hitting their stride in the second half of the season. Let’s see if the Falcons are ready to show what they are capable of doing when it matters the most.
