Ever wonder who was the first ever quarterback to play for the Atlanta Falcons franchise? It was Randy Johnson back in 1966. Johnson played for the Falcons from 1966 to 1970 and currently ranks eighth in Falcons’ history in total yards with 5,538.

Johnson’s best season in Atlanta was arguably his fist. In that season, Johnson threw for a career high 1,795 yards and threw 12 touchdown passes. Sadly, Johnson isn’t even the best athlete in the history of sports with the name of Randy Johnson.
