Lambeau Miracle

In 2003, the Atlanta Falcons had the greatest show on turf with Michael Vick and Warrick Dunn. Every week, these two provided incredible jaw-dropping efforts that left every defense awestruck and gasping for oxygen. And when they went into Lambeau Field, Green Bay didn’t know what to do.

The cold, blistery chill of the Wisconsin air in January could not cool off the team that came in fiery hot that day. Michael Vick, Warrick Dunn and T.J, Duckett ran in, through and around the Packers’ defense. These three accumulated only 173 yards, but every yard was like a punch to the gut of the highly favored Green Bay team.

At the end of this game, it was obvious that the Falcons appeared like a team poised to become a team of destiny and prove all of the “nay sayers” wrong. And when the clocks read zeroes, the Atlanta Falcons had delivered the first playoff loss to Green Bay at Lambeau Field making this an instant classic for this franchise.
