Darron Lee, LB , Ohio State – 6’2 235 lbs

Athletic. That’s the initial thought that comes mind while viewing Lee’s film. He still has some room to add another 10 pounds or so and not affect his ability. He displays versatility to line up at the Will linebacker spot and possibly slide inside on 3-4 formations. Plus, Lee has the ability to be an equal threat in the run game as well as dropping back in coverage.

Lee does have some red flags. When it comes to tackling, he needs some refining. I noticed he has a habit to dip the head a time or two when it comes to tackling. He also leans towards delivering a hit instead of the sure wrap-up. However, that is small potatoes that linebackers coach Jeff Ulbrich as well as DQ can clean up. Having Lee’s athleticism on the field would be a major boost for the Falcons.
