FS Karl Joseph, West Virginia – 5’10 197 lbs

There is no denying that Joseph plays with a sizable chip on his shoulder. Small in stature but his film showed he was constantly around the ball making play and sure tackles. Even with his size, he has no problem is coming up in run support amongst the taller trees in the trenches. Another key trait is Joseph shows good coverage technique and discipline as he turns his head around to make a play on the ball. DQ can mold this safety into a true pillar of the defense.

A free safety with this size can be a liability. Especially in a division with Tampa’s tall receivers as well as Carolina’s oak trees as well. However, Joseph has what Allen doesn’t and that’s tenacity. Joseph plays big and plays with no fear. Also, his instincts are underrated as well as the ability to play centerfield and the ability to play the run with no hesitation.
